  • Conducted internal and external review of Pharmacists Clinic (202324), resulted in the inclusion of Pharmacist Clinic lecturers from ADPI portfolio into first, second and third year lab (integration activities, IA) sessions (Sep 2024).
  • SPIIF fund approved "GENRx: Leveraging generative AI technology to enhance virtual patient consultations for pharmacy students" by Jamie Yuen and Fong Chan—awarded $15,000. The project will explore how to leverage generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enable simulated patient consultations for pharmacy students to practice history taking and documentation, promote active learning and engagement (April 2024). 
  • SPIIF fund approved "Enhancing Pharmacy Education in BC Primary Care: Bridging Experiential Learning Gaps" by Asal Taheri—awarded $15,000. This project aims to address the gaps in experiential learning for trainee pharmacists within the evolving BC primary care landscape (April 2024). 
  • SPIIF fund approved "Integration of Pharmacist Clinic Cases into the Undergraduate Curriculum" by Teri Charrois—awarded $4,000. This project seeks to record multiple patient interviews and assessments from willing participants to use in learning activities in the undergraduate PharmD program, with the goal of ensuring that every student within the E2P program has at least one experience related to the Clinic during their undergraduate program (April 2024).
