Part-Time Pharmacist Facilitator

Having opportunities to learn from practicing pharmacists is an important part of the student experience at UBC Pharm Sci. These pharmacists are able to share their knowledge with learners while simultaneously supplementing their own growth and development as a pharmacy professional.

We are looking for pharmacists from a wide range of pharmacy backgrounds to teach in the Entry-to-Practice PharmD program at UBC through any and all of the following activities:

  • facilitation of small group discussions and roleplaying activities;
  • marking written (care plans and clinical notes) and oral assessments and providing constructive feedback to students;
  • working with Standardized Patient actors; and
  • facilitating physical assessment technique instruction.

You must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Injection Certification and experience in teaching, precepting, and facilitating are assets.

These positions are for regularly scheduled shifts or if preferred, for relief shifts during the academic year (September 2019 to April 2020).
