Story of Medicines

The only exhibition of its kind at any pharmacy school in North America, the Story of Medicines spans the first and mezzanine levels in our Pharmaceutical Sciences building. This free, interactive exhibition takes you through the evolution of pharmacy—how anaesthetics developed from the primitive practice of biting on a stick, say, or how antibiotics derived from a moldy slice of bread—and explores the contribution of pharmacy to human health, while answering many common questions about the profession.
