Kayla Fang is a Lecturer with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from UBC and completed the Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services accredited pharmacy residency. Kayla joined the faculty in early 2018 in the Office of Experiential Education and currently serves in the following capacities as Lecturer:

Co-Course Coordinator: PHRM 251 – Institutional Practice Skills

Kayla has an interest in community-based projects and research as well scholarship around transitioning learners from classroom to practice.

With a goal to cultivate competent pharmacists who care about the communities they serve, Kayla grounds her work in practice, building relationships with practitioners and members of the community. She strives to train students to be critical thinkers making sound judgements and decisions for the benefit of their patients.
