1. Start Early

Preparation is critical in making sure that your application to the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program is complete. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the admission requirements and application timeframe.

2. Review the Admission Requirements

Make sure you have reviewed the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program admission requirements. If you have not fulfilled the admission requirements for the program, your application will not be considered.

In addition to a strong academic background, the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program seeks applicants who possess non-academic traits that are suitable for the program. Selected applicants have the opportunity to demonstrate these traits by participating in an interview. A supplemental application fee will be required. 

3. Ask Questions

Join us at an information or Q&A session to have your questions answered about the program.

4. Apply to UBC

You must complete and submit the online application and meet all application deadlines in order to be eligible for admission consideration for the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program. Late applications will not be accepted. As this is a limited enrolment program, only applicants who list the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences as their first choice on the UBC application for admission will be considered.

Domestic applicants who wish to be considered for the Presidential Scholars Awards and UBC Centennial Scholars Entrance Awards must apply to UBC by the deadlines specified by the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

5. Track Your Application

You can track your application through the Applicant Service Centre (ASC). Applicants who are shortlisted for an interview will be contacted directly by the Faculty.

Supporting Documents

All required high school or post-secondary transcripts must be submitted to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Please note, academic transcripts are not assessed by the Faculty and should only be submitted to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. The Undergraduate Admissions Office will advise applicants of any other documents required for their application.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is charged at the standard rate for domestic and international students with an additional laboratory fee in years 2, 3 and 4.
