Academics

The graduate programs in pharmaceutical sciences consist of coursework, professional development activities and independent research culminating in a thesis, leading to a Master of Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Students can choose to specialize in a wide array of research areas such as nanomedicine, drug discovery, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and toxicology, pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenetics, drug actions and disease processes, neuropharmacology, cancer pharmacology, pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology, health outcomes and pharmacotherapeutics, and pharmaceutical education.
