Get Involved

Our tradition of producing world-class pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists wouldn’t be possible without the involvement of our many preceptors, mentors, interviewers, volunteers and donors. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue providing our students with an outstanding educational experience.

Your Time and Energy Have Exponential Benefits

Precepting

Preceptors play an integral role in the education of British Columbia's pharmacists. Our preceptors provide incredible value to our program by providing our students with the opportunity to put their learning into practice in a clinical setting—and we value the support and time of our preceptors tremendously. What's in it for you? Shaping the next generation, advancing the practice of pharmacy, and sharing in the new knowledge and ideas our students carry with them. Learn more through the Office of Experiential Education.

Mentoring and Volunteering

Every year presents numerous opportunities for our alumni to help out. From individual mentors for our students to cloakers for the White Coat Ceremony to participants in Career Avenues to guest lecturers, the participation of our alumni enriches our students' education. To learn more about mentoring and volunteer opportunities and how you can become involved, please contact our alumni relations manager.

Donating

With our donors' generous support, our students can pursue their dreams of becoming pharmacists. Your support also empowers UBC Pharm Sci to continue its ground-breaking work in pharmacy and pharmaceutical science research. Make a donation online.
