Pharmacists are experts in how medications work for people, including their dosages, side effects, and interactions with other medications. At the UBC Pharmacists Clinic, our pharmacist clinicians use their specialized knowledge and training to offer a range of healthcare services, including comprehensive medication management (CMM), minor ailment and contraceptive services, and administration of injections.
CMM is an in-depth service where the pharmacist works closely with a patient and their care team to optimize medication use and patient health outcomes. CMM is evidence-based, collaborative and ensures the patient understands and is involved in their care decisions.
