Karen Dahri is a clinical pharmacist and maintains a practice in internal medicine at Vancouver General Hospital. She brings this clinical expertise to her teaching as the Respirology Module Lead and course coordinator for a third year elective, Pharmacy Practice in Acute and Critically Ill Patients. Karen's research interests revolve on ways in which pharmacists can improve the care of their patients, especially around transitions of care. She is also interested in optimizing the clinical skills that students are taught through the use of novel technologies such as virtual patients.
