Her program of research focuses on advancing pharmacy practice and education by understanding contemporary practice needs and advancing innovative educational responses. She conducts research at the intersection of pharmacy practice and education in the areas of collaborative care, interprofessional education, competency development, quality improvement, and curriculum design.

Using primarily qualitative methods to answer research questions, her work aims to examine and improve how pharmacists are trained and how they deliver care in practice settings.
