Transcript of Dean Lalitha Raman-Wilms' holiday video Greeting

Happy holidays, everyone!

As the new Dean, it’s been a privilege joining the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences this fall. I’ve been deeply touched by the commitment of our students, faculty, staff and alumni, working together to advance healthcare, pharmacy education and innovation in the pharmaceutical sciences. Your hard work has elevated our community, from groundbreaking research to impactful service in pharmacy and beyond. To our alumni—thank you for continuing to make us proud and for supporting our mission.

This year, the Faculty has celebrated several notable achievements, including the graduation of its inaugural cohort of Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences students and the launch of UBC’s Graduate Diploma in Pharmacy Leadership, welcoming a new generation of pharmacy leaders.

I also want to acknowledge that the Faculty is situated on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Musqueam people, and we are grateful to be able to work, study and learn on these lands.

This holiday season, I hope each of you can take time to rest, recharge and celebrate with loved ones. Here’s to a peaceful holiday and a fantastic start to 2025.

Warm regards and happy holidays!
