The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia (UBC) today releases its Year in Review report for 2023. This annual publication is designed to summarize key achievements and areas of progress, and acknowledge and thank our community of faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters.
The past 12-plus months were marked with a number of important accomplishments, and milestones. These include the launch of the Faculty’s new strategic plan—Catalyst 2.0, the appointment of Dr. Larry Lynd as dean pro tem upon the completion of Dr. Michael Coughtrie’s 10-year tenure as dean, the end of the three-year implementation term of the Pharmacists in Primary Care Networks (PCN) Program, and the celebration of the Pharmacists Clinic’s 10th anniversary.
As the Faculty begins a new year, it will continue on its current trajectory of academic, research, and practice excellence while simultaneously moving the needle forward on Indigenous Strategic Plan (ISP) and equity, diversity, and inclusion goals.
