Objectives
- Provide hiring managers with standardized support (similar to the support provided for faculty recruitment processes) and increased connection with the managers through the hiring process.
- Provide more communication and transparency around job classifications and the recall process and hiring processes to ensure efficiencies and ensure realistic expectations for the hire.
- Refine prospective teaching assignment model for 2025–26 (2025).
Achieved Goals
- Realigned service model based on appointment categories, developing a dedicated role of Assistant Human Resources Manager, Faculty Affairs (May 2023).
- Ongoing communication and feedback to refine the ever complex approach to measurement of workload to ensure equity for faculty members; this resulted in decisions around the expected teaching load per faculty rank and a prospective model for teaching assignment (2024).
