Objectives
  • Build succession planning into processes for grant facilitation.
  • Implement ways to support faculty members in applying for large scale multi-million dollar grants (e.g., protected time).
Achieved Goals
  • Increased announcements related to events and workshops outside our Faculty to promote collaborations outside of the Faculty (2023).
  • Supported Grants for Catalyzing Research Clusters (GCRC) applications (2023 onward).
  • Identified and developed processes to better harness UBC resources for grant facilitation to increase our internal capacity (completed and ongoing, Jan 2025).
