Objectives
  • Identify strategic approach to equipment replacement to best support multiple research units (2024).
  • Apply for Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) grant to support obtaining new equipment acquisition as per plan (2024–25).
  • Contribute to/support large-scale bio-manufacturing and pandemic preparedness initiatives.
Achieved Goals
  • Promoted collaboration with UBC’s Immunoengineering and biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH) for the upcoming CFI-IF competition to leverage our Faculty’s strengths in drug delivery and increase/upgrade our research infrastructure capacity respectively (2024).
