Objectives

Review evaluation results from the Pharmacists in Primary Care Network (PCN) approach to determine how to best proceed (2023/24).

Achieved Goals

Initiated review of Pharmacists Clinic (Sep 2023). Established an Advisory Committee, which will include both academic and research representatives to determine the Clinic’s future direction (2024).
Concluded involvement in the Pharmacists in the Primary Care Network (PCN) program (Sep 2023). The evaluation report was submitted to the Ministry of Health in summer 2024.
Partnered with Student Health Services to offer services for students in need of pharmacy support (e.g., with anxiety, ADHD, depression medications).
Worked to build relationships with other pharmacies on campus to ensure services across the campus community are integrated and recognize specialities of different practices.
Initiated offering minor ailments and contraception appointments at the clinic and developed procedures for virtual minor ailments and contraception service (MACS) (2024).
