- Worked, through the Academic Portfolio, to build connection and reciprocal relationships to residency programs through connections with Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services (LMPS) (fall 2024); formed development task force (fall 2024); continued discussions to determine how the Faculty role in residency could be extended (2025).
- Fostered partnerships between pharmacists and other members of the health care system with a goal to advance health equity, strengthen local engagement, and expand the Faculty's role in the community. Associate Dean Practice Innovation portfolio partnered with BC Transplant to increase public organ donation awareness and registration in pharmacies by leveraging accesibility and trust associated with community pharmacist (2025).
- Received $25,000 from UBC’s Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) Fund to collaborate with BC Transplant to support pharmacists to increase public awareness about organ donation and transplantation. Ethics approval obtained in September and focus group research began. Preliminary findings shared with stakeholders at BC Transplant (fall 2025).
