Deadline to receive nominations for the 2025 Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Agent of Change Award is September 30, 2024.

Information about the application process

All material is submitted in confidence. Neither your name nor any personal information about you, as nominator, may appear in your nomination letter. Your personal information will not be included with the nomination materials and you may be contacted should further information be required. The selection of the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Agent of Change is a confidential and competitive process and only one nomination will be successful each year. If your nomination is unsuccessful and should you wish your nominee to be considered for a future year, you'll need to resubmit a new application form, along with supporting documentation, which can be updated. If you require further information, please contact the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences alumni relations manager, as indicated below.

Nominees must have received at least one degree from the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UBC Pharm Sci) and be an alumnus/alumna of its programs. Due to the format of the event to showcase the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Agent of Change, posthumous nominations will not be considered.

Adjudication

A small panel, comprised of Pharm Sci alumni and interested members of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will make recommendations of a short list of candidates to the dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for final selection. The panel will include, but not be limited to: the current UBC Pharm Sci representative on the alumni UBC Advisory Council, a member of the UBC Pharm Sci Alumni Advisory Committee, an associate dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the most recent Future Alumni Agent of Change, and a professor or dean emeritus of UBC Pharm Sci.
