Jennifer works in a partnered position between the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Interior Health, in Kelowna, BC. Jennifer has a half-time clinical practice in an interdisciplinary ambulatory care clinic for older adults living with frailty, cognitive impairment, multimorbidity and polypharmacy. She has a passion for deprescribing and shared decision making.
Jennifer teaches in the entry-to-practice PharmD with a geriatric-focused teaching portfolio, including as co-coordinator of the Pharmacotherapy in Older Adults elective. She precepts students in directed studies projects and non-direct patient care elective rotations. Jennifer is also a preceptor for the Interior Health Authority Post Graduate Year 1 pharmacy residency program.
Jennifer's research interests include deprescribing, medication appropriateness, climate health literacy, and cannabis use amongst older adults.
