Interior Health Pharmacy Services & The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of British Columbia are looking to hire a Research & Development Pharmacist – Pharmacy Practice and Models of Care.

PART-TIME PHARMACIST FACILITATOR

Having opportunities to learn from practicing pharmacists is an important part of the student experience at UBC Pharm Sci. These pharmacists are able to share their knowledge with learners while simultaneously supplementing their own growth and development as a pharmacy professional. We are looking for pharmacists from a wide range of pharmacy backgrounds to teach in the Entry-to-Practice PharmD program at UBC.

PhD Student- Cancer Biology/Small Particle Analysis For Cancer Diagnostics

This position seeks a highly motivated, energetic, research-oriented individual with previous training in biomedical research. The research project involves the study of blood-based biomarkers on breast cancer extracellular vesicles in the detection and risk stratification of individuals with breast cancer. By developing a non-invasive means of screening for breast cancer we hope to establish a test that can identify aggressive disease from indolent.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Health Economics of Genome-Wide Sequencing

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship position at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus). The successful candidate will be responsible for health economics research related to the clinical application of genome-wide sequencing and the delivery of genetic counselling to facilitate clinically appropriate and value-consistent decision-making by patients and healthcare providers.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Economics of Multidisciplinary Care, Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE)

Rheumatic diseases, consisting of over 100 types of conditions, are the most common cause of severe chronic pain and disability in Canada. High-quality care of rheumatic disease requires access to early treatments and coordinated multidisciplinary support and care. This project will use a mixed-methods approach to evaluate the implementation and impact of the introduction of multidisciplinary care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
