Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Health Economics of Genome-Wide Sequencing
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship position at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus). The successful candidate will be responsible for health economics research related to the clinical application of genome-wide sequencing and the delivery of genetic counselling to facilitate clinically appropriate and value-consistent decision-making by patients and healthcare providers.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacogenomics/Personalized Medicine
The successful candidate will lead research projects that use genetic research strategies to ultimately prevent adverse reactions in paediatric patients. This is a key role in a large-scale project that aims to identify genetic determinants of severe childhood adverse drug reactions. This project uses innovative, large-scale genomic analysis strategies to define ADR causal genes and to develop predictive tests to offer personalized dosing recommendations for commonly used drugs.
