After You’ve Received the PharmD Offer – FAQs

How do I check whether I have outstanding documents?

Review the Applicant Service Centre to confirm whether any document is outstanding for your application. If you have previously submitted an interim transcript, a final official transcript including grades for all completed courses up to and including the 2026 January–April term is required.

I am/was a UBC student. Do I need to submit my UBC transcript?

No, you do not need to submit UBC transcripts. Please be aware that you are still responsible for submitting transcripts from all other post-secondary institutions attended.

When, where, and how do I submit my final transcript?

The deadline to submit your official documents is May 15, 2026. Refer to the instructions on the Undergraduate Programs and Admissions website.

Please note that the Faculty does not receive or process transcripts. Questions or concerns regarding submission of required documents should be directed to the Undergraduate Admissions Office through the Applicant Service Centre. Documents sent to the Faculty will not be processed or forwarded.

I have concerns about submitting my transcript by the deadline. What should I do?

Contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office directly through the Applicant Service Centre

How can I confirm if UBC has received my documents?

Refer to the Undergraduate Admissions Office website for information on document processing times and how submission dates are considered.

Can I defer my offer of admission?

The PharmD program does not offer deferrals. Do not accept the offer of admission if you do not plan on starting the program in September 2026. You will need to reapply in a future cycle through the regular application process.

Is the $2,000 acceptance deposit refundable?

No, this fee is non-refundable in all circumstances and cannot be transferred to other UBC programs. You should only accept the offer of admission and pay the acceptance deposit if you intend to start the program in September 2026 and have confirmed that you are on track to fulfill all admission prerequisites stated on our website. After enrolling in the PharmD program, this deposit will be credited toward assessed tuition fees.
