Admissions Information

Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Pharmacy Leadership program, applicants must:

  • be eligible to be admitted to a UBC graduate program, and meet the English language requirement, if applicable (consult the requirements here);
  • present proof of licensure or eligibility for licensure in applicable jurisdiction by the applicant's local regulatory licensing body (e.g., the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia); 
  • submit a completed application (including payment of the application fee, the supplemental application, upload of all required supporting documents, and referee reports) by the stated deadlines.

Unofficial copies of documents (e.g., transcripts and proof of licensure) are to be uploaded with the application.
Supplementary Application February 2025
Referee Report DeadlineReferees will be contacted by email with a reference form after applications are received. All references must be received no later than three weeks after the application closing date.

Do not upload letters of reference.
Offer of Admission May 2025

Only successful applicants will be required to submit official documents.  

Supplementary Application

A supplementary process will provide the applicant with an opportunity to display motivation to become a leader in the profession. In addition to a professional CV and references, applicants will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their fit for the program through a recorded online interview to be completed in February 2025. Invitation to the interview and details will be sent out to qualified applicants nearer the interview time.

Supporting Documents

You will be asked to upload all supporting documents, with the exception of the referee reports, when you submit your online application. Applications missing any required documents (e.g., transcripts or proof of licensure) are incomplete and will not be considered.  

You will be asked to provide the contact information of your referees at the time of your application. Referees will be contacted by email with a reference form and will have two weeks to send in their reference.

Only successful applicants will be required to submit official documents. All offers are conditional until official transcripts and documents are received and confirmed.
