The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers the highest quality education in pharmaceutical sciences, equipping our graduates for technical positions in the discovery, development, and production areas of the pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, and natural products industries.
In this small program, we aim for personalized instruction and career guidance with our talented team of outstanding professors and educators. We offer access to state-of-the art laboratories, industry placements in the final year of the program, and a wide array of elective courses to supplement the core curriculum and provide personalized programs of study.

With growing diversity in the BC pharmaceutical industry, graduates will be eligible for employment prospects in a wide variety of industries, including biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries; government affairs, relations and policy, regulatory affairs, industrial manufacturing, personal care products and nutraceuticals, health care and allied health care professions, and transition to academic research.

Graduates from this program will not be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist without completing an Entry-to-Practice Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. Please be advised that the BPSc program is not a pre-pharmacy program and does not fulfill all of the Entry-to-Practice Doctor of Pharmacy Degree program prerequisites.
