ISP Priorities and Goals

UBC launched its Indigenous Strategic Plan (ISP) in 2020, outlining eight goals and 43 actions to advance Indigenous Peoples' human rights. In 2022, the Faculty’s ISP Working Group completed a self-assessment, identifying five key pillars to support the University's ISP objectives.

  1. Build Understanding
  2. Sense of Belonging
  3. Programs and Curriculum
  4. Operations
  5. Governance and Structure

The following illustration highlights our five main pillars, with our actions to date outlined.
