Drs. Larry Lynd and Mark Harrison received a grant of $340,694 for 2 years from the Canada Research Excellent Fund, awarded through the DNA to RNA (D2R) Initiative at McGill University, for their project, "Early assessment of the value of novel RNA therapeutics in genomic newborn screening initiatives: health, economic, and ethical considerations."

Colin Ross and Anna Blakney (MSL, SBME) were awarded a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (US) grant entitled “Overcoming key challenges in gene therapy delivery via in situ RNA-directed reprogramming”. $750K.

Jason Min received a UBC Thrive grant entitled "The Thrive Bar: Sipping, Sharing, Supporting" for $500 to create a low-barrier (free) student coffee/tea bar, encourage positive mental health conversations, and highlighting mental health resources.
